CHEWY BREAD

Original Recipe:

• 1/2 cup Butter
• 1 box Brown Sugar
• 3 Eggs
• 2 cups Self Rising Flour
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
• 2 cups chopped Pecans

Healthier Choice Recipe:

• 1/2 cup Butter
• 2 1/4 cups Sucanat
• 3 Eggs
• 2 1/2 cup Soft White Wheat Flour
• 2 tsp. Baking Powder
• 1/2 tsp. Salt
• 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
• 2 cups Chopped Pecans

Preheat Oven to 325 degrees.

Melt butter. Add Sucanat and eggs, mix together. Mix together dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Mix well. Spread into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
