Getting Started with Holiday Breads

This holiday version of the “Getting Started” class will be perfect for both the beginner and veteran bread maker. Sue will cover the basics of flour milling and how to choose the right grain to give you the right flour for the best results for all your holiday baking. No need to compromise during the holidays. You will learn how to substitute freshly milled flour for self-rising flour or even Bisquik and Sue will share some of her favorite holiday bread recipes and shaping ideas. Sue’s beautiful 6-braid Challah Loaf, Orange Cranberry Pumpkin Muffins and Cinnamon Rolls will all be on the menu.
Sue will demonstrate the Wonder Mill, Ankarsrum Mixer, Zojirushi Autobakery and all the basics of milling your own flour..


NOTE: If you already own a copy of our “Recipe Collection” (the RED cookbook), it would be a good idea to bring it to take notes and mark-up some recipes with helpful information you will hear in the class.  If you don’t have a copy (or forget to bring one), we do have plenty for sale in the store!
