{"id":48,"date":"2013-06-07T08:28:34","date_gmt":"2013-06-07T12:28:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breadbeckers.com\/blog\/?p=48"},"modified":"2016-08-15T19:02:16","modified_gmt":"2016-08-15T23:02:16","slug":"ministry-opportunity-for-real-bread-outreach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.breadbeckers.com\/blog\/ministry-opportunity-for-real-bread-outreach\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministry Opportunity for Real Bread Outreach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>by Sue Becker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2007, God put it on my heart to start a ministry to supply healthy, real food to families who truly could not afford to meet this need for themselves.\u00a0 Over the years, we have had sufficient support for the opportunities that arose.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>However, on Thursday, June 6, God brought a need to our awareness.\u00a0 An article in a local newspaper (that I seldom ever read) caught my eye.\u00a0 A local ministry in Cherokee County, GA was conducting a summer lunch program for kids that would otherwise go hungry.\u00a0 I immediately contacted the ministry to ask if <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realbreadoutreach.com\/\">Real Bread Outreach<\/a> could supply the bread for the sandwiches and a cookie for the sack lunch \u2013 all made with 100% freshly milled organic whole grains of course!<\/p>\n<p>When I explained to the person in charge what I wanted to do, she began to cry \u2013 then told me that it was an absolute miracle that I called that day.\u00a0 She then went on to explain, how one of her area volunteers had called to tell her that they were completely out of supplies and had no bread for lunches after this day for their area.\u00a0 So <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realbreadoutreach.com\/\">Real Bread Outreach<\/a> has committed to supplying real bread and a cookie for the 250 lunches per day for the next week.\u00a0 If we can get support, we can continue supplying the bread for the remainder of the summer.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry actually prepares about 1,000 lunches everyday and distributes them to different areas of the county.\u00a0 How wonderful it would be if every child in every area could receive real bread in their lunch.\u00a0 This just might be the only real food they eat all day!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.realbreadoutreach.com\/\">Real Bread Outreach<\/a> would absolutely love to provide all the bread for every area, but this would take supernatural support from people like you.\u00a0 Real Bread Outreach is a 501(c) 3 non profit ministry;
