Remarks: We finally upgraded our mixer to the newest model, thank you. I have used older models for about 10 years. It kneads the dough and gives us the best loaves. I use equal parts hard red and white wheat, 4:1, with one part white beans. Like Sue's daughter, I use my Ezekiel mix for pancakes and muffins. Mix a wheat and a bean and you get a complete protein. Man can live off of bread and water if he mixes and grinds his own grains, with a good sea salt, honey, and olive oil. We eat GOD'S Real Food. <3

Remarks: I’ve had mine for a good 20 years (different name, but same mixer). It runs great, never had a problem with it and I use it a lot. Makes the best bread, people believe it comes from a bakery. If it every breaks, which I am beginning to believe it won’t — I’d purchase another one — you can’t beat it — it’s a work horse.

Remarks: I have had this mixer for several months now. It is so much better for bread than my other stand mixer. It is a bit intimidating, and I haven't gotten as much out of it as I should have by now because I'm not sure how to assemble all the extras. I plan to figure all that out during holiday baking this year. Still worth it if just for the dough roller!

Remarks: Given the money to order this for my birthday present, I did so and the package shipped promptly and arrived quickly, to the extreme pleasure of the household cats. Unpacking the boxes allowed the cats to take possession right away. They were most impressed with the quality and number of boxes. All 8 cats were easily accommodated, and spent considerable time moving from box to spacious box. The stuff inside the boxes was of little interest, though a cursory sniffing was given to the mixer and other contents. Their servant (me) likes the high quality of fit and finish, the precision and the excellent design of the Ankarsrum mixer. None of us have any complaints whatever and 10/10 the cats would recommend purchasing the boxes for other felines to use and enjoy, while the lowly human feels this may well be the best addition to his kitchen equipment he's made in his life, using it at least daily. My bread-making has significantly improved, and I've developed several new recipes for baked goods since receiving it. I agree with the cats: 10/10 would buy again if the need arose.

Remarks: I never wanted to buy a Kitchen Aid because, even though everyone I knew had one, I didn't care for it. It seemed impractical to have the bowl blocked from view. In Feb. when preparing for what I feared was the worse, I found Bread Beckers and the Ankarsrum Kitchen Machine. It was love at first sight. This is the mixer I was meant to have. It has turned out to be as brilliant as I expected. If I couldn't have found it 20 years ago, I'm glad I found it just before the pandemic. BTW, the folks at Bread Beckers were great when I called with a couple of questions. No better customer service!

Remarks: The maiden voyage with my new ANK, "Prince Ank” that is... 1. It’s intimidating! 2. It’s got "POWER”, lots of it. 3. All of the binge video watching was worth every minute of it. This is a MUST step for new owner. 4. You need to trust your instinct, this is a new experience. 5. Wet ingredients first, is odd, but easy to understand once you try it, breaking the old habit of dry first is harder. 6. It is fast! The traditional mixing time is just not the same, watch your batter and trust your instinct. 7. It is mesmerizing to watch! Easy to to watch and not pay attention to your batter. 8. The ‘donut’ effect (off a video) was really helpful, easy to identify, and tells you your dough stage. The swing in arm is AMAZING, eggs seem to try and run away, swing in and grab them up! 9. Old mixer, Viking Pro, I though was a hoss, it on it’s best day does not hold a candle to this ANK. Noise level is amazing for the speed it can go, quiet compared to any other. I look at the paddle and wisk attachments and say why...did they do it that way. Why did we not meet sooner! 10. Clean up is easy, roller, scraper and bowl. Not a drop of unmixed ingredients in the bowl. 11. First bake: brownies & dog cookies. Brownies came out with a lot more loft than usual, dog treats, dough was much more uniformly mixed, and were quickly approved by the paw patrol. 12. This is an incredible machine to own, and more exciting is the group of Ank owners and the exceptional help they offer, as well as Bread Becker’s and Ashley. An outstanding experience with a kitchen appliance that makes me know I should have made this purchase a long time ago.
