BUILT TO LAST — Built with durable high carbon steel and a high quality polycarbonate that withstands years of use, and with proper care, will last a lifetime. Use a pastry brush to remove excess flour. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.

CONTINUOUS ADJUSTMENT BETWEEN COARSE AND MEDIUM-FINE SETTING — Family Grain Mill’s Mill Component grinds a wide variety of grains and seeds including wheat, oats, corn (not popcorn), soybeans, rye, rice, barley, spelt, flax, buckwheat, millet coffee, kamut, quinoa and sesame. Conveniently shift the texture setting just by turning the knob.

FAST and EASY GRINDING — It takes about 2 minutes to mill one cup of flour when using the hand mill or about 1.5 minutes when using the Bosch motors on either the Compact or the Universal models. One cup of wheat will make about 1.5 cups of fresh cracked, course or medium-fine flour.

FOR HOME USE— Blend healthy grains to create breads, hot or cold cereals, granola, cookies and cakes. But it does so much more than that! This flour mill attachment will also grind salt, coriander, pepper-corns, and some chopped, dry, non-oily herbs and spices.

It is NOT suitable for: saw palmetto berries, popcorn or tapioca.

"Family Grain Mill for Kitchen Aid"

Remarks: The reason I bought the Family Grain Mill for our Kitchen Aid some years ago is it can be set to produce a grain texture much more coarse than flour. I leave it on the coarsest settings to make wonderful cream of rice, cream of wheat, cream of anything!! This device allows me to produce a healthy fast breakfast with no clean-up but the cooking pan, bowl and spoon.
